Well at 1st i just got the FI exhaust with no cats and it sounded like the stock exhaust almost exactly mabee a little bit lower. But as i said in a thread before i got a dent in one of my mufflers (its in the back not really noticable) and i told FI bout that and i was already talking to them bout getting some hfc's and they hooked me up with some for $500 flat with shipping instead of sending in the muffler blah blah blah but the cats made the exhaust. i can feel the gains and love the sound

Hey can you do me a huge favor?

Even with a sh!tty cell phone or whatever, take a pic of your car from the side so I can see how low or high your X-pipe is sitting.

Mine hangs a little low, lower than my sideskirts, had it readjusted once and it went up about an inch but it's still kinda low. Just curious. No hurry, just when you can get around to snapping a quick pic.

Well, it IS the resonator.

The X-pipe connects to the connecting pipes that connect to the HFC, LOL. Did that clear it up?

You have your HFCs, which are up in the engine bay practically, connected to them there are pipes that extend down. Connected to these pipes is the biggest piece, the big X-pipe that says Magnaflow on it. Connected to this is your rear pieces that have the muffler and tip.

Like the FI exhaust!! I was gonna go with it until I saw the motordyne thread. Think I am going to wait for theirs. Looks nice though!

Was looking into the moterdyne but they basically have the same stock looking muffler and thats FTL for me, i think they are comming out with a diff version thats louder as well but we'll see!

 

maybe its just me... but why does your car look lifted in the rear in the 3rd pic...?
