Approximate total is around almost 14,000 but thats with buying some aftermarket parts ,custom paint and a bunch of led retrofits plus more .The car was not totalled because of damage .It was a theft recovery .

Just finished my blue hvac display and gauge cluster today .yay .Im putting my avic d3 in tommorow also .

Wish I had your knowledge. Where did you learn how to do all that? I'm looking to paint my own car next year. Do you know of any good books or dvds?

Amazing transformation - I was getting a bit discouraged on page 18 when everyone was saying MIA -

BUT THEN LIKE A GOOD BOOK THE HERO RETURNED ON THE FINAL PAGE!

Rofl - anyway excited to see the final man - great job.

PS - you guys jumped on Simpson's *** way too quick - the man was just lookin out!!!

First - great job on the repair as it does look great and you got a modded G for a steal (in the sense of how much you put into it but your time is invaluable as you cannot put a $$$$ amount to that).

I have a question for the members on this site - and please be honest. Would you buy this car or would you purchase something that was not in an accident? I'm all for original vehicles . Repaired cars look good until the end of the first year or for us in the north where it snows and they fire salt on the road - the first winter.

I'm not knocking the skills of 04 G as they are exceptional - then again pictures can make most things look good but when you get up close you may see imperfections. Not too often do you get a better finish than factory unless you throw huge $$$$ at it.

Im sure most people would buy a clean title G over mine but that is to be expected . I didnt mind the time it took cuz i like the challenge .By saying repaired cars look good until the end of the first year that depends on who repaired the car . I have also painted my other cars and the paint is still great 5 years from when it was painted . the paintjob on my G is definitly better quality than oem expecially with infinti's ****ty clearcoat .Plus there is no orange peel unlike factory paintjobs .You can get as close as you would like and see there are no imperfections . As long as it is done right it will be just as strong and last just as long as oem. The epoxy primer i used also gives the painjob good strength unlike surfacer primers .

Heres some new interior pics . I converted everything to LEDs even the cluster .I also installed a avic D3 . I used a metra DD finisher with JDM a/c controller . The controller needed a little modifying to fit but came out good and now i dont have a gap around the HU like the JDM DD finisher . Im also using the 7550 harness(without rca's) but still using the stock bose amp and speakers .The sound is much much better than the factory bose radio somehow .

no gap
