Hmmm, instead of just switching to blue LED's for the gauge cluster, maybe it would be more efficient to put in white and then blue tints on the back of the cluster to help eliminate the hot spots.

sick project. The paint job is nice. Im sure the blue pearl really pops in the sun. The interior led's look great too. I cant imagine the amount of work/time you put into refinishing this car.

You are 100% right on the cluster .I was planning on redoing with regular hid white #74 leds or regular bulbs in the stock locations then using lighting gel like i used on the a/c display . I do like how the color is so sharp right now but since there are a few leds aligned right behind a couple numbers there are some hot spots . Right now i am using a 36 led flexible strip curved with the guages that sit only a few inches from the bottom of the gauge face .

Never been to cali nor been on a plane since i was 5 so i would def take you up on that lol . would even do your whole car for free lol .

To the rest of you guys thanks for the comments .The blue does pop nicely in the sun . My crazy hobby/addiction/job takes up a ton of my time .
