take it back to them and tell them to fix it, vinyl is re-usable, see if they can smooth it out more, take a hair dryer and put it on the bubbles, you should see a significant difference when you shrink it

I will try and do this but I'm thinking they're going to say that it's the overlays because they kept implying that they didn't like how it was a 2-piece overlay, etc.

i say take it off and paint it...i had the bat overlays for a short while before I decided to paint it...

I've seen vinyl roof overlays in person on a car in CA, and it looked terrible up close, even from a couple feet away. You really need to paint it if you want the black look, otherwise it only looks good from far....
