Bat's Roof & Rear Valence Overlay on Diamond Graphite... Opinions & Questions!

I was wondering what do you guys honestly think of the roof overlay? I pictured it basically looking like an OEM paint job for some reason and you can kind of see that it's 2 layers up close. Now given a local tint shop / vinyl shop called Formula One is who installed them.

The rear valence in all honestly does look INSANE. From every angle, and even up close, I feel like it looks amazing.

Anyway should I take off the roof overlay or leave it? I just don't want anything even semi-ricey on this car. The black grill also really sets the front off. Which I painted with Plasti-Drip paint.

Anyway I need opinions on whether I should keep the roof overlay on or take it off. The shop told me it would need a few days in the sun to look right. But is this normal? Does it really take a few days for it to look better? I just don't know!

EDIT - some better pictures!!

Opinions needed!

I know my friggin' BlackBerry Curve is horrible when it comes to taking pictures so frustrating!

Here are a few more pics, the black roof looks AMAZING from a distance I just worry about how it looks up close in detail you can almost see that it's an overlay but I'm hoping a few days in the sun helps take care of this. Maybe Bat will respond but that's the only frustrating thing.

to reduce the gap can't you just trim the vinyl to reduce the overlap? i ordered my roof overlay last week can't wait to install it!

I had a professional tint shop install the overlay too that's what is so frustrating they do vinyl overalys all the time so it's not like it was something new to them. I think I'm definitely going to take it off what a waste of f-cking money ugh.
