Oh man, an LS2 swap would be SICK! Not to mention an LS7 (although I think that's about a $14k engine)....Oh and by the way your G is gorgeous

If you are going to do a LSx conversion, get over to LS1tech.com and check out their hybrid section for dropping LSx engines in EVERYTHING.

Personally, I would use the block, heads, and intake from the LS3 and have an EXPERIENCED tuner build it with a more aggressive cam and a forged rotating assembly. You can go as big as a 418ci with just a stroke.
ECS, Cartek, and Vette Dr's and all good shops and I would check them out in that order. A LS1 will make impressive power, but if you have the engine out, you might as well get the most for your money, right?

Also, Rodney at RPM Transmission is the BEST in the trans and rear business. Check out corvetteforum.com that has many satisfied customers from bothe ECS and RPM transmission.
