My first DIY painting the Grille

I was bored at work last night so I figured I paint the grille.

Plastidip is the ****







Not bad eh?

No sir. Its rattle can. Real thick stuff. I just scuffed up the grille with some 320 grit and sprayed it on. Two coats is all you need!

I threw some nuts and bolts at it about an hour after I sprayed the second coat and they didn't chip it. I'm gonna take a close look at it after about a week or so and see if there is any problems

sweet bro, looks good!

Yeah theres this stuff sounds similar that you melt and pieces in and covers it in plastic or rubber!

Thank you, I will be going to Home Depot tomorrow and getting some sand paper and plastidip. How do you think a coat of clear would look on top of that from a spray can?

I dunno. I prefer the satin finish over gloss. The contrast between the satin and clear on the rest of the car looks good. Pics don't do it justice.
