Playing with HDR 1st Time

Ive been messing with Photomatix today and came up with this





what do you guys think? I know it isnt perfect and this picture is from the ebay lister from who I bought the car from, isnt the best camera but share your thoughts below. thanks!

Hmm half the picture is under exposed and the other is over exposed.

Heres how an HDR should come out

What exposures did you use for the HDR and how many photos did you use?

im not sure which exposures i used..i edited the picture in photoshop and just played with the contrasts and put it in photomatix..i used 3 photos.

I will play with it tomm, but dont expect much since these are JPEG files. It best done with a RAW file.

really? how do I get it in a RAW file?

You have to shoot in RAW if your camera is capable

are you setting the aperture and shutter speed your self? It looks to me like you're camera settings are off..

Not only are you using a JPEG image but it looks like it was taken by a very low res camera whcih will get you nowhere. And it also looks like exposures were changed on photoshop adn not when shots were taken. My advice borrow someone;s DSLR(a type of camera) and give it another try and if you get into it buy one. You can get them used for like 400 for a D40 which is a great beginner camera. Good luck:thumbup:
