I finally finished my Emblem Delete Grille
So after attempting this project twice, and spending countless hours on it, I am done
. I first tried using body filler to recreate the grille pattern, but it didn't come out up to par, so I cut all of my work out and made a mold of the upper line of bumps with fiberglass. I then cast 2 pieces from the mold and fiberglassed them onto their corresponding spots on the grille. Then I used a little bit of bondo to fill in the gaps and sanded and painted it. Here's the finished product. I may go back sometime later and wetsand some of the minor imperfections and then repaint it, but for now, it looks a lot better than my first attempt. Big thanks to my friend's dad who helped me with the fiberglassing
Let me know what you guys think

haha if you're interested, I could make you a couple of pieces from my mold. you'd have to cut out some of your OEM plastic in order for them to fit, and then you can bondo/fiberglass the pieces in.. It'd probably be easier for you to do it yourself though

Emblem..Less Grille....NICE!
I like the way your grille looks, especially with the BS color G35. If it were
mine I would have done it in gloss black/clear coat, but I'm a bling kinda guy....done right!

^ thanks.. I agree with you, if it were any other color than BS, I probably would have chosen gloss black, but the flat black looks good since it matches the bumper vents and it contrasts well IMO
Nice man props for even attempting this with Shanes infamous emblem deletes out here. Looks good the first picture looks weird but like you said it prob is the flash or something. Nice work overall.

thanks everyone, the first picture doesn't really look like it at all. sure it's not perfect, but it's very hard to tell
. the first pic looks like the front has rounded edges because the flash lit up the top of the grille
