Eyelids are on!!

Finally had some decent weather so I put my eyelids on. It's amazing how 2 small pieces of fiberglass can change the appearance of the car. Opinions always welcome!

I purchased these from Ionic. The older versions of eyelids were always way to clunky and thick. His are very slim, light weight, and made of fiberglass. You can get them from him unpainted, painted in your color, or carbon fiber. Here is a link for more info and pricing: https://g35driver.com/forums/exterio...d-real-cf.html

Thanks Brice, that was the reason I got them. Gave the G a more "pissed off" kinda look. As for sedans, I don't think they are available yet if ever. I would recommend that you talk with Jose at Ionic and see if that might be something for sedans down the road.

Thanks again for all the compliments thus far!

the eyelids do make it look mean but the car itself doesnt look aggressive enough to pull off the eyelids. IMO a bumper kit to give it a lower stance and a nice drop would go well with the aggressive look.

Thanks for your input. I am actually already dropped with an Eibach Pro Kit. Only about 3" clearance ATM and tires are flush to fenders, no gap height wise. I still need spacers though to flush them up on the sides which will be coming soon. This pic shows my drop a lot better than the ones posted here as I was taking pics of the front of the car for this thread:

I'm probably not going to go with an aftermarket bumper until I go FI, possibly a Nismo if I do decide before FI. I think it would be a different story if I still lived in SoCal. The roads here would probably shred a Nismo front if I got any lower to the ground. Thanks again though and keep the comments coming!

Eyelids are on then off then on then off then on....:)

Your eyelids look good, it's not required to have a super aggressive look to install the eyelids. I've had mine on or off for the last month, went thru a whole roll of that tape. Finally installed them like everyone else's, about half inch lower than yours. I do like the look....

I debated placement for a really long time. I ended up going closer to the top to match the hood line. But I might still move them around.

Good question but I don't think they are compatible with a sedan. Might want to contact Ionic so see if it is possible though.

No, they won't. The lines/curvature are different.
