Build Progress... Pics!!

Hi everyone , This is my build thread.. Comments are welcomed...

My G when I first got her...

After alot of pre-fitting, bolting, prepping, and half a gallon of bondo I was finally able to get all the parts where i wanted. Now off to paint...

Sanding i left for the shop to do...

After pre-fitting the rear and the sides i took them off so the shop painted them off the car then again to blend into the car...

Painted!!!

Finally got to take my G home!!

After a good wash and wax..

Currently in doing my homework on my next step. New rims, tires, and coilovers. Im pretty sure im going to buy some Volks but im not sure if thier going to be 19' or 20's. As far as offsets go im looking for an aggressive stance. My big issue is looking good but at the same time not sacrificing a drop of handling and performance. Ive been in too many rides that looked great but handled horrible because of the aftermarket rims. If anybody has any input that would be great!
PS: Thanx Hector for all the time and work we put into this car!

If your goal is better performance then I would stick with 19's. Stay away from all the chrome "bling bling" stuff because its heavy. I have volks on my car and love them. I also have TEIN Flex coilovers which are set pretty stiff. The car handles great.

And also as far as handling you really dont have to worry about the wheels affecting that too much. Even with stock suspension you wont notice any real difference.
From the coilover aspect if your not going to track your car you would probably be satisfied with Tein basics. They are fairly popular on this forum. Even if you do track the car they still handle reasonable better then stock.

HMMM. Love the sides!

They fit perfectly.

I'm surprised you completely covered the fenders though. Since you had the CF hood, I thought you would have made the fender ducts fade from CF to the blue.

I'm glad you had the time! The only thing that I wouldn't have selected was the rear bumper. Turbo next? haha. Trust me, I've had that front bumper for 4 months and it CRIES - "INTERCOOL SOMETHING AND GO FAST!"

Looks great so far. Like what jamaica2g said, the only thing I wish you did was leave some of the CF along the duct in the front fenders. Oh, and please get some new wheels w/ better offsets asap!

Thanx for the comments guys... Yeah like i said next step is wheels.. i was waiting to get the car back from the shop for those. Shops usually dont take much care of your stuff and i didnt like the idea of new rims getting scratched or rashed while in the shop!
