I agree, I think a taller tire in the back looks tough. I would just recommend you take a picture from another angle because the one that you have makes the rear rim it's self look smaller.

Going for the "slicks and skinnies" look??

That's a 2.2" difference in tire diameter. Has the VDC and ABS lights come on yet?? Typically a 3% difference in rotation fouls up the computer and displays the warning lights. You are over the threshold for that.

That's a negative. I turn that VDC crap every time I start the car. I call it the fun button.
ABS lights are off, I just tested the brakes yesterday too. Grips and stops faster than before when I got my brake pads upgraded.

I know I need spacers for the fronts. The rears seem fine so far.

I'm trying to figure out why you care about drifting a (mostly) stock G....? Without some major modifications our cars are really not made to be drift cars...

Um, because it's fun. And that's what the VDC button is for. Drifting and peeling out. Can't have any fun with that VDC turned on. If you don't have fun driving the G35, you are totally underestimating it, or you aren't using synthetic oil. I gained (estimated) 15hp when i changed the oil to Eneos. The car was screaming, it was alive, untamed.
On the other hand, it's easier to drift on a stock suspension. Stock is softer, higher, and therefore easier to lose traction. Problem is the car looks stock. I'm not saying a stock suspension is great (there's nothing worse than stock), I'm just saying it's easier to get the back wheels to spin.

In your case wouldn't you lose traction faster with a stiffer suspension since you would be forcing your tires to take most of the force, rather than having all that body roll and momentum going all over the place??? You dont see drift cars with "soft" suspension or high ride height.....just sayin

Fat and meaty tires are the opposite of stretching the tires onto a rim. I'm confused as to your goals.

Its also actually harder to break traction with a taller series tire than a low profile tire.

You still have me pretty confused here. I enjoy my car to a great extent, but that doesn't mean I have to go drift it and peel out all over the place. Our cars (stock) are nothing more then moderately powered, very heavy, "luxury" sports cars.

Again, I love my car, but if I were going to consider owning a car to drift, it would not be this one.
