Not much progress since the last post. I've put in about 16 hours of work, but in the past 8 hours, I've only succeeded in burning out some LEDs as I'm working on the wiring. I'm trying to have some of the LEDs in the 3/4/5 arrangement light up in addition to both LED rings. I was able to do it with my previous setup, and I was trying to use a more streamlined method, but I'm going to go back to the same type of wiring as before.

I have some prewired LEDs coming in the mail, and I bought a circle maker for the dremel. I'm going to need 8 near perfect circles of acrylic.

 

Subscribed. I wish this would work with JDM tails.

 

I don't see why it wouldn't work with the JDM lights. Though it might take a little more work to match the LEDs, since the JDM lights have a different outer lens.

I got my dremel circle cutter, it takes a bit of practice, but it will work.









I'm about 20 hours in, and only about 15% done.

 

If you're willing to do this as a service, let me know, I can fork out money for this 'mod'. thanks.

I'm actually moving at a good pace on this, since my wife and I will be moving in two months.

 

Probably about 75% done now. Those LED light assemblies took the longest time.
