Build thread: Dual Ring Skyline Tails II

I finally started today on this project. Most of you have already seen my thread with the first set of taillights. I'm using G35 Sedan 07+ lights for the donor LEDs.

I'm going to try and keep track of how many hours this takes me. So far, this is 5 hours of work. It took about 2 hours to take apart the coupe taillight.

Comparison of G35 05-06 sedan light bezels to the G35 07+ ones.

Just test fitting, held together with friction fit.

I'm slow with projects, and I tend to only do some here and there, so don't expect a finished product this month.

Sick work man, did you have to cut off the red lens off the taillight?

Thanks for the comments, I'm still working out some details for the rest of the light.

Yeah, it's pretty much the only way to get those lights apart. It only takes me 5 minutes to get the sedan light apart, since I don't need to put it back together (you can just use a chisel and hammer to pry it apart).
