I finally started today on this project. Most of you have already seen my thread with the first set of taillights. I'm using G35 Sedan 07+ lights for the donor LEDs.
I'm going to try and keep track of how many hours this takes me. So far, this is 5 hours of work. It took about 2 hours to take apart the coupe taillight.

Comparison of G35 05-06 sedan light bezels to the G35 07+ ones.

Just test fitting, held together with friction fit.



I'm slow with projects, and I tend to only do some here and there, so don't expect a finished product this month.

dont the coupe tails hava two rings also? i have a pair of jdm, and when i have the turn signal on, i can see a ring too, wouldnt i just be able to rewire everything so that they both lit on?
