You mean like getting swiped in a walmart parking lot tonight? A hit-n-run at that. Luckily there was a witness that got the tag info for me. Some old lady, cops tracked her down at home and was talking to her as they wrapped up with me. We also have the same insurance company.

Not really that major, but because she bailed on me I want it repaired entirely.

Get some fool, we all know you hurtin for wheels. With your drop the 19x10 and 19x11 combo will fit nice. Especially now that the 19x11's come in a +23 offset. That range wasnt avialable when I mounted mine, so I have some bolt on spacers for the rear. I've comptemplated selling my wheels to use towards just buying another set in the desired size, but I dont think it's worth the hassel, unless it was a good deal of course...wink wink!

Yeah I noticed that too, I used the microsoft image editor, I think next time I'll stick with PS, MS-IE was just quicker to open and use. It probably compressed the file a little when I saved it/opened it.

I hear ya, I have a spare set of spring mounts I'm going to mod and put on before I put back on my winter setup (another month or two?).

Thanks for the compliments guys, hopefully the insurance and the body shop does right by me.

Fitment on the wheels is spot on, I'd like to replicate something like that on my car. What offsets are you running? Any fender work aside from rolling the rears?

The wheels themselves look great too, but honestly the center cap looks cheap as hell. I wonder if that company offers another design?

You are right, if you look at the blog for Forgestar, you'll see a lot of BMWs with them. They're considered a nice in between for the CSL replicas and the real BBS made CSL wheels found on the high end BMW M3-CSL.

Ouch you hurt me with that last comment, I actually made the center caps myself. Here are the details for what you asked and commented on.

The wheels are 19x10+20 with 255/35/19 Hankook V12 Evos in the front. The rears are 19x11+33 with 12mm spacers with 295/30/19 V12's. At the time I purchased them and then had them mounted, +33 was the lowest offset available on the 19x11. +20 is also still the lowest offset on the 19x10. I initially wanted 19x10's all around, but I did the math and found out the 19x10+20 and 19x11+33 stuck out the same amount and since I knew I'd have to staggered tires because of front clearance limitations, I decided to go for the wider rear and use some wider rubber. Currently, you can get the 19x11's in a +23 offset, which in my opinion would fit extremely flush with the same size tires. Right now I have a rear roll, which has caused a slight pull (which is hard to avoid when rolling by your self). This new offset range was not available until AFTER I mounted everything. I contacted them and a supplier to see if I could get a pro-rated deal for an exchange, but no one ever replied.

As for the center caps, I made them out of a plastic resin material from a process called Stereolithography. Also at the time of ordering my wheels, Forgestar had one center cap available and they refused to make me a black one. Since I didnt want a silver machined center cap on my gloss black wheels and it would have been too much work to mask the graphic and paint them properly, I decided to make my own. They now have a black, carbon like center cap that looks much better than the original. For mine, I painted it PPG Jet Black, layed down a vinyl printed Forgestar Crest and then clear coated the whole thing for gloss and protection of the vinyl. I reverse engineered them to the same sizes as the Forgestar cap, except I added a raised lip/ring to them. I think in person they look a lot better than what the pictures provide and I purposefully wanted them to be a little plain.

You can find details about the new sizes, finishes and center caps at the Forgestar Blog.

I haven't spent any time on another design I have thought of, but I think I'll wait to play with that for next summer. It will be a little more advanced and challenging.

I hoped that cleared everything up for you. Thanks for the comments and criticism.

Hey thanks a lot for the information, I'll have to play with some spacers over the winter and hopefully get a nice fitment and stance like yours.

Also no hard feelings on the center caps, it's just one guys opinion, nothing more. They may not be to my taste but they certainly don't detract from the overall look of the wheel.

Thanks again.

I have a standard Volk setup:
9.5f+28 255/35/19
10.5r+23 285/35/19

I'm pretty happy with the rear but if I don't get a set of new wheels over the winter, I'm going to add perhaps a 10mm spacer to the front. I haven't really figured out the exact numbers yet...
