Black on Gold.. my new look

RO_JA R2-5 in CARBON BLACK

New set of wheels.. love the way they look. didn't have a chance to clean them up.. left the supplies at a friends house.

Wanna get some feedback!

Future mods i'm looking into..
Taillight tinting
upgrading to projectors
installing red LEDs everywhere except the dome light (i'm going to RU and i think red/gold looks hot)
window tinting to 20%.. not sure b/c it's illegal and won't really need it in the winter
Rutgers "El Tape" mod
debadging
caliper painting.. black or silver (NOT RED lol)
painting the lips gold?? dunno
flat black emblemless grill
any other ideas/suggestions?

thanks for looking/commenting!

sorry.. pics were taken in bad lighting/iphone 4

^i believe the OP is referring to his OEM Paint which is SSand.

+1 on the drop and please do not paint your OEM calipers red, paint them black
or silver for a cleaner look.

haha definately don't paint them gold because your car isn't even really gold in the first place

rims aren't bad though

I don't mind the rims. Almost like a volk GT-S replica or something.

Looks good, what are the specs?

NO! on the red led's everywhere that's just rice imo. Nice and simple looking coupe I would def drop it and throw away those ebay clear corners and buy the non fogging ones lol

I think the only real issue to me is that the silver lip on the rims takes away from your color theme and is just adding an extra element in there that while it isn't hurting you, I wouldn't say its helping you out either. Maybe have the polished lip painted out to match the spokes? I think that would help with some unification.

I totally expected to see an OB coupe with gold wheels....sike! You don't want anything on your coupe red, the lettering on the wheels are a good example! (puke!) Wheels aren't bad but get rid of the red lettering! You could have your wheel lips painted body color, since they're not polished you may as well. Then save your $$ and lower your coupe to remove the gap and you'll be looking good!

Sizes/ offsets of wheels? Tire sizes?

I don't think it looks bad... Lose the red lettering, and for the love of all things decent, say NO to red caliper paint... unless, of course, it's factory red huge Stoptech calipers... But get black ones if you do that anyway.
