Yeah haha. I didn't even think about the rotors when I asked that question. Good question smiLee. Could a high pressure car wash be strong enough to peel the plasti dip off.

Could you post up some recent pics to show how the plasti dip is holding up to driving? I want to do this, but i'm hesitant about the durability.

This is ef'n genious! I'm tired of looking at my battle damaged stockers. My question is did you use the fusion paint, wheel paint or could the polybicarbonate paint used to paint rc car bodies create a good bond to the plastidip. When I get off work I going to raid Lowes also seen the spray type at biglots too.

when you all use plasti dip, make sure you spray a thick coat around the lip of the rim and on the side of the spokes.. if not i will be very hard to remove in the future, i started to remove mine after doing this 2 months later and on several parts its really hard to remove!

I'm going to Lowes/ Home Depot now! Thx for sharing this! Looks like powdercoating is out the door now. This will do till I find me some rims I have to get.

Thanks again!

I am def gonna paint my track wheels with plasti dip... I painted them with wrinkle black and they didn't hold up at all. Thanks for another idea (bad or good lol).

Definitely going to pick up a few more cans of plasti dip and turn my stockers into black ups.

2 coats has held up well on my grill for the past year. Might as well throw another coat on when I get some more.

Did you do the inside barrel of the rim or tape it off or anything.
