this is a great thread and i can't wait to do this soon! but has anyone ever thought about painting the center cap a different color maybe like red or something? does anyone have any pics of this?

that looks pretty good.. stock wheels look decent from afar.. if they were more aggressive, could be sexier.

How many cans did it take to Plasti Dip it. I'm doing it this weekend and wantes to know how much to buy.

Always thought Plastidip wouldn't come out nice. But you guys have proved me wrong, good job.

i know this is an old thread, I've used plastidip before but its going to be my first time painting over it, wouldn't the bronze paint and clear harden? how would the plastidip still peel off like it would by itself? want to paint my wheels but worried its not removable after painting over the plastidip

you'll be fine, the plasti dip peels off with or without paint.

well i recently took the paint off my wheels after having them on for 6 months or so. I just got bored of it and decided to go back to stock finish. They were holding up just fine, the only time you'll have an issue is if you curb the wheels.

I am thinking about painting my stock 19" rays, however i was wondering if anyone had a picture of this done. Im wondering if its worth it to paint them black, or just keep the stock look, however the clear coat on my stock rims is starting to peel.

you know my first thought was hmm i didnt like painted stock wheels, but these are nice
