I know im about a month late on this thread. I just got my tint redone. When I bought my G I think it had 35% (could of been 20% i cant tell) on the doors and the back but it definately was not dark enough for me. I have tan interior and I know it would of looked darker if I had black.

I decided to go with 5% all around and yes for the most part you can barely see outside at night, headlights and such excluded. I also had 50% done to my front and its worth it considering the heat in Vegas. I can see perfectly through the front at night with no problems and it cools the inside greatly. I say go for it if your local cops aren't strict about the tint laws.

 

I have 20%. I really want to go 15%, but 20 is just fine. Not to dark. People can't see in, but you can see out just fine at night. My friend has 15 all around and 35 on the windshield, really dark. But you can see out the front at night fine. Just stops glare really good.

So if you want tint, go 20 or 15. And I've had no problem with cops. Pull up beside em all the time.
