PlastiDipped Asanti 20's

Friends rims were pretty beat up so we decided to plastidip em black and they look flawless from a few feet away!

we also did the rear valence, letters and grill!

EDIT: BETTER PICS

No, I would still be able to tell. Yes I will post my feelings about plastidip. I could talk more garbage about the lambo doors, but this is a bigger nemesis.

wht im curious about is why u care so much if SOMEONE ELSES CAR is not how u would like it! not everyone has a lot of money to blow on repairing wheels and painting em, if u were to see em b4 compared to how they look now and u still dont agree that its better than u r simply just HATING...my grandma can see that this is an upgrade...on top of all this plastidip is removable so y so much hate towards PD??

That's what message boards are for. Sharing opinions and looking for opinions.

Can't judge anything from the pictures anyway, so a bit useless. I'd like to see some HD shots of the valence.

If plastidip was an upgrade I feel sorry for the wheels. Shoulda saved the money from the lambo doors to fix the wheels.

Because people believe that Plasti-dip is the solution to fixes or an alternative to proper paint, etc. when it truly isn't.

Why add an extra step to an already pain-staking process of repair (if your original intentions are to actually repair them eventually...)?

The problem is especially when people say, "Why paint (or repair in this case) when you can plasti-dip".

yeah not to mention that it still looks nasty afterwards. Its textured, will be splotchy, tears off in certain places.

I mean it doesnt even look good

You can tell this guy was trying to repair a crack in his bumper

After seeing a whole car done with it in person, I will speak my mind about it because its just degrading to see a car get that way. For all owners.

This is my post from MyG37 on this same exact subject...it was quite a heated subject at that.

Right...

You cannot achieve this with Plasti-Dip. So keep believing in your half-assed accomplishments. Like I said, Plasti-Dip is fine...but don't ever compare it to paint.
