Hey guys.
I'm planning to buy 18 inch rims--the varrstoen 2.2.1's in +12 and was wondering how they'd look with my drop. I'm dropped on 350z stechs and did the rear springmount mod. I searched but couldn't really find any pictures. I want to rock 18s but don't want a huge fender gap :[
If you guys could post some pictures with your coupes dropped on stech's--or any spring that's about a 1-1.8 inch drop--with aftermarket (or oem) 18's, that'd be great.

before i put my coils on i had s-techs with my varrstoens but they were 19's so i don't think that the drop would be the same with them



This is before i had my varrstoens, oem 18's with s-techs

 

instead of doing 18s id keep the stock 18s and do a drop with spacers.

 

Oh dang the wheel gap isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Right now I have 20s but I want to go smaller for weight and ride quality and looks. Idk if this is a stupid question, but would it make my car lower going from 20s to 18s?

I had 18sto before but now have 19sI but im dumped completely and still wouldn't sit as low as if I had my 18swife again

 

Haha thanks. Is it a noticeable difference? I want to be a little lower, but not scrape everything :P I'd probably go with a thicker series tire when I get the 18s

 

Oh, and ambiguous--do you have any pictures of the fender gap. If not, could you comment on the fender gap? haha thanks :]

 

Fender gap in the front was very small, with stechs the front is perfect in my opinion, its the rears that could use some more drop but for that you could just do the spring mount mod

 

The drop in the front is perfect but the back is no where near satisfying. Very weak drop i would look at a different type of spring like 350z htechs or eibach

 

Haha, thanks. I already did the rear spring mount mod and cut off about .75-1 inch of it, so i think i'm fine. I'm pretty even with the fender gap with my 20s :P

 

Oh well with that it should be decent drop on 18s then

 

And I should be pretty flush with +12? :O
