Suspension set up on 18s?
Im in the market for some wheels and lowering set ups.
I dont want anything bigger than 18 inch.
I would like to drop the car a good amount, maybe 2-3 inches if possible.
Whats a good set of springs or coil overs that will give me a nice drop on some 18s.
Post pictures please, and thanks.

You aren't going to get anything spring wise over ~1.5 in
Not to mention unless you buy new shocks with those springs you will ride like jabber's mom.
A good set of used coils (Tein non basic, HKS, Stance) would be great. I think you can grab some other sets new for under 1 grand. Check the marketplace.

I'm on 20" rims and dropped with Tanabe Sustec ProFIVE coilovers with a little bit of SPL camber toys, which set me back just under 2 grand. I need some more camber toys, so Gary is absolutely correct about the 2k+ done right. I'm fairly close to the ground with my Tanabe ProFIVEs, even while on 20's. If I had 18's, I can't imagine the amount of scraping x_x. They are adjustable of course, so that'd help no doubt. I love these coils so far; They're pretty too, hahah.
OEM front passenger strut and Tanabe ProFIVE front passenger strut.

Also, learn to do the work your self. You won't get raped by a shop to screw a few bolts.
Granted air tools are amazing, but those can be attained through a friend in the business.
75% of "modders" on here just drop off to a shop for "peace of mind" Lol. Those same people raise their hoods at meets to show off "all of their hard work"

>______> I threw the coils on myself, and had an extremely difficult time getting a few parts removed. I don't have any "friends in the business" and didn't happen to have air tools laying around. I spent a bunch of money on tools, though, and even then, I was stressing out about getting some OEM parts off. I was going to resort to bringing it in to a shop, but FORTUNATELY they said they didn't have time for me that day, so I just persevered, and eventually got everything done myself.
I mean, he's right; doing the work yourself is actually a lot of fun (it was for me, despite the stressing) and you'll feel amazing with the learning process. I've never had a shop do anything to my car yet, so at least I'm a bit happy I can claim my hardwork is paying off. heh.
Sorry for digression; other guy made me feel like it was necessary to share my story.
