Considering where the power steering pump is on an LS1, I wouldn't think it would be a problem.
A guy I worked for had an LS1 swapped '77 240Z that he had added power steering to using a WRX steering rack and the OEM pump from the Vette.

WOW. Glad to see what you've decided to do there.

BTW - My wife is Carioca and her family has a beach house in Angra. Have you had time to climb Pao de Acucar?

Power steering is pretty simple. The swap kits, when complete, come with hoses with transition fittings that allow the oem ls steering pump to work just fine.

Back in the US!

Car is out of the garage after a solid 6 months in there.

New tints (20 front, 5 rear) and black vinyl. Will look better when the black volks are back on.

Got the chance to inspect the LS block and its in good condition. Parts gathering will continue. Hoping to have the project completed before summer. Til then will continue to work on getting the best parts for it and narrow down the best choices for the supporting items needed.

Came back to the US for a week. As my return is approaching, time to start re-modding (much better than de-modding I tell you that).

Front volks put back on. Rears will be installed today once the 305/30/19 ( LS traction mode!) get mounted and balanced

For the day I'll be riding ricer mode with mismatch wheels. RayVolks... Crazy how much better the Volk offsets are, can't wait to be riding on proper offsets again

Now that I got the black roof and the darker tints, along with the black volks reinstalled, it might be time to do the black HLs. Thoughts?

Hmm, i wouldn't do black HL's personally, never been a fan, but if you do i'd complete the theme with smoked tails and side markers for sure. It would definatley match your grill and overall darker look though Car is looking good though, im ready to see this build come back to life...

Got the rears installed.

Love the meaty look of the 305s. Pics don't do justice!

Do something baller and paint the headlights gold!!!!! JK. I think either Black or Chrome will look good. You have both colors on the wheels.
