Varrstoen 1.1.2 with PlastiDipped Lip: updated pix
hey what's up guys, I drove my G from SD to Vegas this weekend and wanted to paint the lips of the varrstoen 1.1.2's with plastidip instead of blue taping them up haha
I was just curious to see what they would look like.
varrstoen 1.1.2 in "hyperblack" this set was darker than the real hyper black they have. Mine look more gunmetal
19x9.5 +12 with 245/35
19x11 +15 with 275/30
These are the only good pix that came from a dslr before they had rubber on em

these are when i first got them mounted last month

Wheel Prep

Small coats plastidip

Final product

That't why I went with Plastic Dip too. I agree that the polished lip does look great on those wheels, but hey now he can have the black lip and just peel it off when he gets tired of it.
The difference is night and day. That is... it looks a millions times better with the polished lip. At least you can peel if off; I would advise you to do that ASAP!
It's your car, glad you like it. I just wouldn't be able to roll like that.

The polished lip looks better. I've grown tired of seeing matte black wheels because they blend in with the tire and take away from the depth of the wheel imo. If it was a black chrome or black gloss, I'd say throw it against the board and see if it sticks. But, as a matte, I'm not a fan.

Thanks for all your opinions guys. Yea this was only temporary, like I said it was just for my road trip to Vegas. I agree the black takes away the depth perception unless your like a foot away lol *I just wanted to see how it'd look. The black makes my car look more mean, the polished makes my car look clean

exactly boss man
Damn those "Were" beautiful rims!
Why bother with your survey/poll if you intended to f@*# up those perfectly beautiful rims with "Plastic Dip?" Now you can have a G35 DRIVER meet at your house, invite every member in your area. Buy a case or two of Long Board and have a "Peel Off" party....
