this is what most ricers that dont know Nissan's heritage think.

The nissan skyline is just a family car, nothing special. kind of like a rwd maxima or something. The skyline also comes in a wagon which is called the Staggea (?sp)

These are skylines:

"G35" wagon

like you said r32, 33, r34 are chasis codes, and guess what was the next V35, V36...

what non Nissan people dont get is, what is sought after is the GTR trim, not the skyline. the BNR32, BNR33.. etc

Realy Nissan purist call cars based off of the JDM name or the chassis code because nissan re-badges cars based on different markets. I usually refer to cars based on chassis codes, so V35 is what i call my G35.

and FYI all the g35s are fakes.. because Nissan wanted to call the US spec J35 but it got lost in translation and they mistakenly named it G35.

and debadgeing is not rice? lol bunch of idiots that get money from mommy and daddy and take their cars to shops to get their mods installed

putting skyline badges is not to fool anyone , the ones that get excited are idiot/ricers that dont know the difference between a skyline and a gtr

1. Your list of cars still doesn't answer my question...if you do tell people you have a Skyline 350 GT but don't want to get lashed out on here by some people then thats fine I was just wondering...

2. I don't really understand how debadging is rice...your taking something off not adding something useless/distasteful on

3. Think you might have taken some of the other people's comments (some of which are rude, I'll admit) a little too far...but we're on the internet, and you did come into a g35 forum acting like your car is a 100% autentic Japanese skyline so..

1. in reality i've had anyone ask what kid of car it is because who doesnt know what a g35 is. they usually ask how i'm driving with japanese plates, and then i have to explain how the car was stationed in japan and registered there and how u can drive on import plates as long as it's not over 11months... and etc

2. i was being sarcastic, ppl are saying it's badged as skyline to fool ppl, is the same as ppl removing the badge to fool people what car it is.

3. im not saying it's japanese, im saying how real nissan purists call cars but either the chassis code or the JDM name. never said it was a 100% skyline, the forum title even says V35 , with this kind of mentality it should say ( 1st Gen coupe forum)
