Washed the Skyline
1. in reality i've had anyone ask what kid of car it is because who doesnt know what a g35 is. they usually ask how i'm driving with japanese plates, and then i have to explain how the car was stationed in japan and registered there and how u can drive on import plates as long as it's not over 11months... and etc
2. i was being sarcastic, ppl are saying it's badged as skyline to fool ppl, is the same as ppl removing the badge to fool people what car it is.
3. im not saying it's japanese, im saying how real nissan purists call cars but either the chassis code or the JDM name. never said it was a 100% skyline, the forum title even says V35 , with this kind of mentality it should say ( 1st Gen coupe forum)

I don't think theres anything wrong with what you did. I think people are just getting on you not only because of the badging, but also because of what you call it as well as how you label it with the Japanese color code and etc. Again, I don't have anything against the car or you personally, but I can see why some people think it's going over the top. I'm not sure I would have badged my car in the same manner, but imo it's still a very nice car. It's the internet where people can freely express their opinion so you shouldn't be offended, it you like its all that matters.
comming from the ex Evo owner, alot of evo owner are ricers, along with wrx and sti guys. people that dont know **** about cars so they buy pre"modded" cars and somehow think they have the fastest car on the road. crazy how you guys end up in the nissan scene
just machine some acrylic , its not complicated, u can make it with 3 layers or acrylic and smd's. all you need is a bandsaw or a dremel if you dont have access to a milling machine
also, FYI for people that still havent made it clear why "skyline" rebaging is rice. ????? no logical answer

FYI skylines came with steering wheels in both right and left hand,
which registeration?, the japanese one says skyline.

If my intent for this car wasnt for it to be a daily, it's be running twin turbos's pushing +600hp. and all the work and tuning would be done by me. I highly doubt any of you guys could say that, or wake up everyday and has to decide which of the 8 infiniti's to drive..
