Washed the Skyline
a- motordyne as rice was sarcastic reply to calling a rebadge oem badges rice.
b- For ppl saying the g35 isnt a skyline, need to study nissan first............ GTR is not equal to Skyline, learn the naming convention. the skyline is just a rwd family car , nothing special. some one here also mentions about the VQ not being modable has no f''ing clue what they are talking about. you can tell eric hsu that swaping the RB for the VQ is not modable,
c- no one has explained why a rebadge on a car is rice, the car has legal japanese plates and is driving on public roads with japanese plates. oh wait that might be rice to?

In America, you drive an Infiniti G35. In Japan, they drive a RHD Nissan Skyline 350GT. Very simple really.

just an FYI, you're not doing anything special. the fact that they're pretty much the same car is what makes it worthless, why a lot of people consider it rice. it's not like you converted an E46 M3 to a CSL(not available in the States), that would be a "purist" type build. all your doing is basically swapping badges to look like a stock JDM car w/the same specs. if you really wanted to be JDM on the v35 you'd keep the infiniti badges considering that, that's the cool thing to do in Japan(unless you wanna tell me that they're not as JDM as you). if you want JDM respect go get some "rare" JDM parts and at least actually do something to your car. before you try and educate me and call me a JDM noob, i lived in Japan and owned a Skyline sedan and i wish i had my G there because it would've been more special. you don't need to get all offended because you named your thread w/very little thought as to what peoples reaction might be. news flash you're on a site called G35Driver, we all know what cars we have. did you really think people where gonna come in here and be like, "oh, wait... what, the G35 is a V35 Skyline in Japan, TIGHT!!!" come on now, really? don't use it's JDM and it's the purist move as a cop out, just say you like your car your way and apparently that way is to look like a stock car in Japan. oh, and the i'm going to sell it and by a GTR move... cool story bro.
Because we are in America, hence your steering placement. In America, which you live in, you drive an Infiniti G35. In Japan, they drive a RHD Nissan Skyline 350GT. Very simple really.

well in Germany the Skyline 350gt is LHD, identical to the usdm g35.
2, i rebadges because im driving with JDM plates, and when i had is badged as a g35 cops hastle to much about it, with the skyline badge + jdm plates, they dont hastle me
yeah but i own 8 nissan/infiniti's some are badged as primeras with a lot of jdm parts ( headlight, grill, power folding mirrors, corners , jdm motor swaps, etc....)
this car is left stock, not planning to mod it, did suttle changes with the bagde swap and thats my only plan. the g35 is too heavy and slow for my taste, all that is done is getting it registered with japan plates,

i've never once heard that, most ppl are like wtf how are you driving around with Japanese plates..
i also expected that g35 owners would know 2 things,
1. the g35 is the skyline in everywhere around
2. the difference between the GTR and Skyline ( skyline is nothing special, its the gtr that the supercar)
