Smile Summer Project 06 G Coupe Front collision with a deer

****COMPLETED PICTURES on post #12 ***Hey guys Iv been browsing this forum for awhile getting all the info I need so decided to post some pictures of my G35 project before starting on it. Finally got all the parts yesterday.

I got the car from an insurance Auction written off with no frame damage. When I saw the pictures it looked like minimal damage but after taking it apart had to buy a few unexpected things so here goes

List of things needed to be replaced/Fixed

Windsheild - got from local junk yard
Power steering reservoir - got from local junk yard
Hood latch - got from local junk yard
Radiator Fan assembly - got from local junk yard
Grill - got from local junk yard
Hood and hinges - Got the Seibon OEM style CF hood and hinges from infinitipartsusa
Both fenders ( Dent removal / Painting ) - getting it done at a local body shop
Radiator Support - Ebay from D&H auto
Radiator - Denso - from local shop
AC condenser / AC lines - BEHR condenser - local shop and lines from infinitipartsusa
Air intake - Ebay - Injen CAI
Headlamps - Ebay nissan Dealer got OEM 06 set
Driver side Air bag - - got from local junk yard
Both front seat belts - - got from local junk yard
Air bag module - Sent to company to get Reset

and yes bought OEM 19s with winter tires since winter is just around the corner off a guy from nicoclub forum and def getting rid of these cheap rims and gonna buy some nice summer rims/ tires next summer

Thats all the updates I have so far il keep posting pictures as things get rolling hoping to have this on the road by end of August

Yea Its pretty fun

Here are some updates been busy this weekend

installed the major parts - radiator, condenser, rad support

Then the fenders ( which still needed to go to the body shop for some work and the lights

Now all im waiting for is the CAI to come in so I can start the car and install the hood and the speedy glass people to come and replace the wind shield and hopefully will be ready to pass the gov inspections oh yea and the bumper which im installing tomorrow

Wow, good job so far, looks like you picked a good one!! The cars I'd be afraid to buy are those that have suspension problems along with frame damage.

Yea added new power steering fluid, coolent, Engine oil... need the CAI to start the car so i can swap the transmission fluid and differential oil.

Anyways heres some updates still have to go to the body shop to repaint and fix the fenders but there on for now. gota really get a new grill lol I got this off the junk yard for 5 bucks

Its finally done! here are some pics.... this car sounds amazing
got my self some 19" OEMs from a guy in nicoclub forum

taking it to the dealer to get the AC recharged and the keys programmed and that will be it

yea that i do i got this grill off the junk yard for 5 bucks lol I ordered the OEM grill should be here in a couple of days
