Back for the 1st time...
Just went and saw the damage AFTER they moved the yellow truck off of my car. They messed up her pretty face. It does not look totalled though. Front bumper, grill, passenger side headlight, hood, fender, side mirror, side skirt and pillar all need to be replaced. Passenger wheel is just barely attatched. Gotta love forged wheels... only a couple extra scratches.
Now I wait for the driver at faults insurance to get in contact with me about what they see. Whether they will fix it or what. Will update as I get info.

Hoping the best, keep us updated. Did you're grill get untouched in that crash? Sure looks like it, even though its probably one of the last things ur thinking about.
Pissed. The towing company that was holding my car was playing he said she said and wasted 2 days so they could make an extra 50 bucks a day. Anywho... the car was finally picked up and transported to my body shop on Friday. The adjuster will be out there bright and early Monday morning finally. Then I will get an answer about whether or not it is totalled.
The insurance appraiser finally got a chance to look at the car today. He said it may be totalled but he is not 100% sure yet.... sooooo he is giving the autobody shop to do a full tear down to see if there is frame damage and whether or not it will be deemed a complete loss. They already started the process and he wld have a final verdict for me by Thursday. This process is draining the life out of me. But I'm glad he is being professional about it and making sure everything is done the right way.
If it is fixable my mechanic recommended a leak down and compression test to make sure that there is no damage to the engine. So much as a hair line fracture could ruin things he said... After hearing that, **** kinda scares me. I don't want to have to deal with replacing and engine again. My last G needed that kind of work done. F.M.L.

After all is said and done I just decided to stick with my 335i. I have been driving it everyday since the accident and I must admit I do have a serious love hate relationship with this car. It is so awesome and the on demand stock power and control is intoxicating. No major issues or minor 1s for that matter have popped up and I'm thankful for that. Since having the 2nd HPFP replaced and finding out that BMW extended the warranty to 10 years/120K miles on this, the turbo wastegate issue and the water pump I've decided to just try and fall in love with her. I realized I have never posted pics on this forum of her so here she is...

Decided to just stay with her because she has been super fun and pretty reliable. Gonna finally go down the modding road with her. Hoping to end up somewhere around 400whp/420tq after all bolt ons and tune are done.
I test drove the M3... it did not impress me. Maybe I built it up in my head too much. I just was not impressed plus it was not under warranty, parts are super rare and expensive and I would eventually have to drop like 4K to replace the SMG pump that seems to always fail.
Also test drove a G37 coupe, man that thing was boring. It felt too refined. It was way less sporty than the G35 stock for stock. Infiniti was definitely focused on the individuals looking for luxury over sport in that car.
Anyway, thanks to everyone that came along with me on this journey and wished me well. I truly appreciate it. The G community is an excellent group of people. I am on here a lot less as I've decided to refocus on the 335i but I still check in at least once a day for my favorite threads. Thank you again.

x2 for just going threw this whole thread... sorry to hear about your G. As an IP coupe owner myself i just saw my worst nightmare from your pictures. Except i don't have a bad a$s 335i just hanging around lol. My buddy recently purchased an 09 335i and hes had issues with it as well. One morning he started it up and it started blowing white smoke and was shaking hard from the front end. I forgot what he said caused it, but luckily they covered it under warranty. Good luck with you BMW... I have always loved the exterior of that car.

Im sure the more you look at it you're going to see more and more wrong, I wonder if they are going to total it.
