What........ I can't cut down on the wires. I've tucked them, but with gauges and turbo kits you add wires.

Speaking of wire tuck, how did you get that much slack on the passenger side harness? As of now my grounding wire will barely reach the front bolt for the fender brace. Did you remove the wire lume in the battery compartment?

Remove the battery, there is a hole in that fender, pull through. I may have ground it out more but slightly. I still had to cut 3 wires and relocate them. But it gets tight.

I did all that. Instead I drilled another hole in the forward corner of that indentation and ran the wires through there. I figured I would get more length from the harness by doing that. My grounding wire was connected in the same area as the hole though, which is about 4 inches back further than where you have yours. In order for the headlight connector to reach I had to run the wires over the top of the fender brace and not through it, and the hood sensor connector still won't reach. Which wires did you relocate?

I removed the wire lume from the harness in the battery compartment this morning and it doesn't look like there's any way of getting more slack from it without lengthening wires.

Rechecked everything today, the only thing that doesn't reach is the hood pin/sensor. Its only 2 wires so I'm just going to extend those. Don't have a windshield washer reservoir hooked up so those wires aren't a problem. Running the wires like this gave me an extra 1" to work with compared to using the other hole, but its a tight fit between the fender and brace:

Why don't you run a washer tank??? I don't fully understand. Haha. Anywho, the wire tuck is almost worthless with the turbo. I have wires no mater what. I'm not skilled nor do I have the time to hide them all. I have to do a oil over flow tank re locate, we will see where that goes. That could help me hide a lot of vacuum tubing.

If your going to do a wire tuck, dont stop short just because of some grounding kit that doesnt do much of anything. Your turbo has an oil line, not a wire. If you have to add wire to lengthen some wires then do it.

Also, what is that weight gaining GT Spec chunk of steel doing in your fenders? Another un-needed piece of internet scam making $ product. Those guys are as awesome as wire grounding kit builders.

I never ran any grounding kits and I got rid of almost every wire from being in site without lengthening anything. Never had any grounding problems when all the original ground are hooked up properly. Problem lies with corrosion for most because they dont know to clean the grounds already in place..

No room, the piping for 2 turbos clutters the engine bay. Once I get the front end back together I'm going to see if I can fabricate something.

Possibly, I was and remain skeptical regarding these. Members have claimed they noticed an improvement but, unless the chassis actually moves in that spot which is highly unlikely, a noticeable difference seems impossible. I think their total weight is 24lbs.

What year do you have? Seems like every person or DIY that involves an 03/04 says the same thing. Who knows, maybe their wiring harness is longer. Or, they have the wires pulled so tightly to the point where they defy common sense

And to whom was your grounding comment for?

Me. I have a grounding kit. As for your gt spec comment. That area needed to be stiffened up. It did need to be done. That part makes a world of difference. As far as the grounding kit... I helps out only by very little though. It helps with an idle, but its not like I gaining 30hp by adding 5 wires. Look, I'm at 565hp and around 500tq. Off a fully built motor and a single turbo. I think I understand what I am doing. I'm not going through and doing the main wire tuck because I need to have access to those. Also, everyone I know has had to lengthen wires in the tuck. Don't know how you avoided it. I only did the tuck so if I add more to the bay, they are out of my way.

Does your passenger side window washer hose have a t-fitting on it, letting fluid come out of the nozzles and the fitting?? My driver side only has the fluid coming out of the nozzles.. I'm wondering if its supposed to be like that or not..

To much heat wrap I think not. It ends up being right next to the downpipe. Also have to wrap that silicone hose.

All the tubing is basically on now. Took me like 2 hours to get all the tubing to line up right so that it held and didnt keep popping out.

I also got these babies in the mail HUGE props to Dkano on a perfect job.
