Hey guys, I've been a silent member on here for a while and i enjoy looking at progress threads more than anything else. Pics speak louder than words so here it goes...not much of a "build", but we'll see where it takes me.

Bought the car used in 2012: 2004 5AT (obviously Laser Red)



Had to take a pic next to my moms old 280zx (I will never let my car get to this point lol, whata shame...)

Clear corner with bump/ LED swap, Dual Halo LED's (ended up melting and destroying my old reflectors) Lights are 5k white not that ricer blue crap, not sure why the pic came out blue





Roofing fell off my apartment scratched the shiit out of my window and door (am getting repainted and new window on 2/3/14)




6" LED strip accent lighting under steering column, glove box, and rear seats.



Bought a set of used Varrstoen ES1.1.2's from the Marketplace on G35Driver. Pulling the 4x4 look for a couple weeks before going low. I would love to get som Work TS1's some day...



Got a set of new Stance GR+ true style coilovers installed by CNC Autosports.






Bought some used Akebono's off ebay from a wrecked G37, handpainted them with red G2 epoxy/paint and Tunerz Store white AKEBONO decals.

4-Piston fronts with Adams Rotors double slot Race pattern rotors and 10mm spacers for rims to clear brakes.

Projector headlight upgrade after my halos melted for an unknown reason



Filled in the "battery" etching with Bondo on battery covers both left and right sides. Painted with AX6 LR rattlecan touch up and clear.



That is one nasty looking engine bay... don't worry i'll get there, just money and time haha



Currently fitting poly Impul sideskirts and poly Nismo V3 after an unfortunate incident with a suicidal cat with a grudge

Wow Ogee... One of the nicest LR's I've seen! Convoy mode scared me a bit haha how'd you do that? The wheel and Akenobo combo looks really clean. Keep it up!

 

Thanks guys i appreciate it, as for convoy mode I put my camera on a tripod and took several pictures of my car in different positions. Then in Photoshop i combined all the pictures into one using a "clone" tool.

 

How are u gonna know where the battery is now that u shaved them??

 

I'm still trying to figure that one out. I might sharpie it on top of the battery cover to say "battery" and "brake fluid". That would look much nicer haha maybe ill do it with Crayons. Either that or take the covers off completley just so i always know where the battery is. I never thought of the potential problems shaving "battery" off could have. I'll talk to my mechanic about it. (sarcasm people...sarcasm...)

 

Just looking out for ya, I wouldn't want your battery to die and u not be able to find it..

 

Thanks man i appreciate it. My next mod might be to attach GPS to my battery so i can always track exactly where it is. Might buy a Chilton too hmmm....

 

Very good start Ogee! I love progress threads like these and can't wait to see your G after its visit to the paint shop. Convoy mode was my favorite pic.

Thanks! Yeah i'd like to do a basic spacer, z-tube or CAI, tune, and a Cosworth plenum is a dream but not anytime soon. First i want to get everything polished up and looking good before i make any expensive changes. Gotta "finish" my exterior first though lol. Gary, iv'e got a good idea where my battery is don't worry. If i ever loose it I'll create about three seperate threads (in the wrong sub-forums of course) asking where to find it though.

 

That post had 0 seriousness in it.. lol It was a complete joke.. Now if they both said battery then he would have to do the jdm battery mod and run dual batteries..
