Nothing to really update, but heres a photo of car with the wheels since painting them.

I gave the G35 an oil change...turns out it was overdue poor thing had crappy thick oil from the previous owner and it was looking mighty dark.

My own fault for not changing it as soon as i bought the car. Running much nicer now with Agip UltraSyn 5W-30

Gave it a clean and discovered a new dent. God damn it. (look beside the drivers door)



Springs and spacers will be installed soon. Updates to come. Cheers.

 

Do your tails have the amber lights for turn signals like the 06-07 JDM ones???im guessin they don't- Just curious

 

They do...

 

My guess is they don't, it's just a trick of the lighting in the pic. JDM tails are pretty rare here in the US, not many people make that mod.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately i have no updates for you currently.

The turbo build has been put on hold for now. Reason being, i have decided to build a 200-300whp turbo Miata...

It will be Rocket Bunny influenced. Call me crazy. Call me bent. Im not fussed, after driving one it had me hooked. With coilovers and some snappy power behind them, they are the closest thing to driving a go kart.

Dont worry though. The turbo build will continue, just not at this moment...

 

Hey there guys. Unfortunately, no updates for the 350gt atm, other than the fact i replaced the rear left wheel bearing because of an earthquake pot hole...what a bloody mission!

I do however, have an update for my kart racing

I managed to get a nice shiny trophy recently. Along with my Mrs picking up the South Island womans title

My better half's 1st place in the ladies class (she was 0.7 seconds off the mens time)

Hey all. Unfortunately no updates on the 350GT front, other than ordering a plenum spacer.

For those of you interested in my karting, heres a update from the last meet.

I had 4 races in the weekend in the A/Open class. I was the only 125cc in the grade, so i had a pretty tough time getting to the front. (as seen in the 1st vid, the 450's are just too quick)

Results:

Race 1: Did not race (flag marshalling)
Race 2: 4th Place
Race 3: 1st Place
Race 4: 2nd Place
Race 5: 2nd Place

Last race of the day (3 kart race) 125cc vs 250cc vs 450cc - The 125 held its own pretty well!
I had an awesome last race where i raced against 2 faster karts. The 250cc has around 50hp and the 450cc kart has around 75hp. My wee 125 has around 36hp :P
