'06 G35 coupe on VMR Wheels — progress thread

Hey everyone!

I've been a member here for a while now but haven't really shared photos of my car, so I thought it would only be right to have a thread of my own to share my progress with you all. I've owned my 2006 G35 coupe since April 2013, and I've done a few modifications here and there over time. I plan on keeping this car for at least the next few years so I'm in no rush to get everything done all at once—taking it slow is never a bad thing!

My vision for this car is to create a sensible, functional daily driver without sacrificing the head-turning appeal. Even though I don't drive the G every day, roads in my area are subpar and driving a stanced car slammed to the ground just isn't practical. I hope you get the sense of direction I'm taking with this car in my progress thread as you see how the G has changed!

Some of you may be familiar with VMR Wheels, but if you aren't, here's a little bit about them. They are very popular in the Euro scene (VW/Audi/Mercedes/BMW) but not so much with the Japanese/import scene, so it was very refreshing to be able to run the unique setup that I have now. I was hesitant in selecting a wheel design at first, because I wasn't sure how they would flow with the look of the car. But when I saw them in person and fitted them onto the car, I was blown away at how clean they complemented the G's body lines! The photos speak for themselves. I'm sure you guys will agree

I'll be updating this thread periodically with transformations as they occur, but I can tell you I won't be doing updates every day like other builds. You won't see the car slammed on one day, engine build on another, and turbo on the next. Rather, I'm just going through the bits and pieces of the things I've done here and there, which some of you may not find interesting. However, I'm open to feedback, both positive and negative (but please make sure your feedback is helpful/necessary or I will ignore you ) If you have any questions about anything I've done, please ask! I'll be more than happy to answer to the best of my ability

I also post photos to Instagram frequently so feel free to give me a follow at @the93owner. I will do my best to follow back!

Be sure to check out VMR Wheels on their website (http://www.velocitymotoring.com/) and on Instagram (@vmrwheels)!

I must be out of the loop, last I checked VMR only had our bolt pattern in the 710s but that's awesome to see them expanding!
Clean ride my friend!

Thanks guys! For a while the V710s were the only set available in our bolt pattern, but recently they've expanded into producing more designs to fit Japanese cars. Not all are listed on their website yet.

Thread updated with my newest mods added! Over the course of these last few months the car has undergone some major transformations. Front bumper, roof wrapped, headlights, and of course the HaloEFX! It's been really tiring and cost me lots of time and money getting these added but I'm finally finished to getting where I want it (for now haha). Ready for show season this spring/summer!
