New wheels... 20" DPE GT7

Got some new wheels on this week, thanks to Creative Autoworks  These are the best quick snaps I could take in the daylight; I'll take some more over the weekend.

Tires are Falken GRBs - 255/35 and 285/30. Good meat, slight rub in the rear with a passenger but only on very hard dips when I'm alone. The ride is pretty damn smooth, though. The wheels raised my car a bit which I prefer, cuz the roads around here suck. Coilovers to come soon.

Please excuse the noob question. Educate me....If the car is lowered, what will the coilovers do appearance wise?

Well, for me they both serve the same ultimate purpose, however with coilovers I can adjust the height exactly as I want it (slightly lower than it is now).

By the way... laces out, Dan!!

Ahhh, I see. Very clean G. I've got a black sedan and would love to put a nice wheel on it. Seeing yours just makes me want to pull the ol credit card out and buy my wife a new set of wheels for my G for Christmas....LOL

I couldn't tell ya, but they do feel considerably heavier than my previous wheels, which is not surprising since I just came from 19" CE28Ns.

I read your post before your username and thought, huh, who the hell knows me here? I'll post some "over there" when I get decent pics. Thanks Dan!

The G is in OB? I dunno what that means I will most likely just get a set of Tein Basics.

The finish is gunmetal:

More pics tomorrow in the daylight. Thanks for the compliments folks!
