oh ok, I used to have a set of heavy chrome rims and that led me into looking for lighter wheels like the OP. ADRs.

Get what you like man. ADRs look good on the sedan. I doubt you are going to notice any type of loss when it comes to performance. If you don't like them later on down the line....sell them, save more, get something else.

Look at Ttrank...he's had like what, 6 sets of rims?

Just pointing out the fact that people on this board pull out the weight card when the wheels aren't from Rays, Works, Iforged, DPE, or anything other big $ wheels. The fact is that most of those forged mulitpiece wheels are as heavy if not heavier than their cast counter part. And if performance is what your really after, you wouldn't be looking 8" wide rims.

I just brought a set of 20" wheels I'm not going to be able to mount them till Feb. but I can't wait to see if I can tell a difference in 20" vs 19" we can debate this all day long but to each his own. I think I'll pick up some of those 18" 350z track rims with tires they really look pretty good on the sedan. with a set of wilwoods.

anything wider is going to have too much rolling resistance for straight-line acceleration... anything narrower sacrifices handling... what width would you suggest? BTW 8.5 is what I'm looking for not 8 (if I said 8 anywhere in the thread it was a mistake)...

Edit: I just re-read the posts and an 8" wide rim wasn’t even mentioned... I guess it's like much of this thread - stuff is brought up that doesn’t pertain to anything that was said.

i have been looking at these wheels to, they are in my budget

I am looking at these
OEM Coupe Stocks
350Z track wheels
M45 wheels

I like the look of m45 the best, and these 2nd best,i am glad to hear they are that light.

I want to go for a more classier look though, and i just cant decide of these go along with that.

More pics please

jon!

damn... of course once again I have something making me think twice lol. I would feel safer if it was a hub centric wheel. Would I have to worry about the rings? Do they break easily? How much do they cost? Would it be better to find a hub centric rim?

if you are worried about your wallet and want light wheels, get either the z track wheels or the 19" rays from the coupe and powder coat them any color you want.

they look nice and love the car. I just want something a little different than the stock look you know. I want to walk out to my car and make it feel new again and just be different than anyone else

there is nothing to worry about. Hub centric rings are quite common and safe. I would only suggest using plastic ones and get the right size. If you want a hubcentric wheel you have to spend the money on a custom made set. Even Volk, Lexion and Work wheels to name a few need hub rings for proper fitment on our cars.

hmm really? ok that puts me more at ease. I am not too familiar with the rings so educate me. What kind should I get and where can I get them for the ADR M sport wheels. What kinda of $$ are we talking about for them?
