if you buy the wheels from a reputable shop, they will know best to provide you the hub rings with the wheels and very likely for free. This is common knowledge in the industry. They don't cost a lot ~ $10 for the set. Just remind them your center bore is 66.1

Edit: I just re-read the posts and an 8" wide rim wasn’t even mentioned... I guess it's like much of this thread - stuff is brought up that doesn’t pertain to anything that was said.
I guess that's bit of a touchy subject and more of a personal preference/car setup. I would be running 18x9 all around if I was serious about tracking my car.

And yes, I am much more concerned about performance. But I like to make the car look cool too.

36 up front and 35 on the rear, I rolled my fenders since then and the rims sit with a -1 camber. No rubbing at all.

9 for road course, maybe?... drag strip too wide for fronts... as I stated initially, 8 was incorrect, I've been looking for 8.5 - when I re-read the posts looking for the 8 reference I overlooked the post you quoted... Anyway, 8.5 all the way around, or possibly 8.5 front 9.5 rear... still deciding. But for my needs 9 in front is too wide.

you think so? I thought about the 40 series as well to fill my wheel well gap more since I am not lowering it. I will go with a 40 series tire. Thanks

my rears are 275/35/19 on 9.5 inch wide wheels, thats why it looks so big. I will be going down a size to either 275/30/19 or even 255/35/19 once I get my lowering springs.

I went with a 40 series in the front because I wasnt planning to lower as well. It'll look better since you won't have a thin tire and huge gap. The gap will be only marginally smaller, but the thicker tire makes the gap look smaller. My fronts are 19x8.5 +38 and I am sure I will never rub, I am pretty sure a +35 on a stock suspension will have no chance of rubbing as well.

OCG35, that's what I had in mind. But for drag a 9" front is just a waste.

Sure thing man. I won't be until the warmer months since I am saving up for some cash to do a number of things. I am waiting till the harsh weather is done so I can go about installing all my plans. Take a look at my planned Mod's...
