Wassup everyone, well today, after much Q&A i decided to take off my front grille and paint it. I went with the flat black looks as i think it gives the care a very unique look. I went with G35PAPA/TTRANKS methods of painting there headlight bezels for my front grille and i was very pleased with the outcome. Here are some pics i took with my Blackberry(also, i will be switching from the JDM emblems i currently have back to the Infiniti soon):

I sanded my azz off to make sure it was smooth and all imperfections were gone...then i re-sanded 3 more times after i layed down some base coats of primer. Then i gave it about 4 coats after that(1 every 20 minutes) to make sure it was covered..i love it

im in 909 rancho cucamonga. maybe we can meet up this weekend and i can help you with the lights whiel you help with my grill. I do have a broken headlight we can experiment with before taking the plunge.
Good job GeeDM. Soon your grille will turn out like mine w/ the Mt. Fuji emblem

I think most people choose the flat black style because its finish/texture is quite the opposite from the OEM chrome on our grilles, plus it greatly tones down the mirror-like look which most of us can't stand. I'm glad I was able to tackle this project effortlessly without resorting to bringing the grille to a paint shop; the DIY method is like cake

Also, do you guyz think i should put clear on it or should i just leave it the flat black??? i think the clear would make it look nicer but i also like the rugged look of the flat..
