New Member 05 G35X!

Hello Everyone!! I have been searching the forum for a few weeks now gathering lots of great information and finally got my own G....So Long story short, after months of trying to decide what to buy for my next vehicle I stumbled upon the forgotten by me G35X. I live in Wisconsin and this would be a daily driver so the AWD is a big plus. I searched for a few weeks and came across a silver 05 1 owner lease return with 32,000 miles on. I test drove, fell in love and bought it. My previous car was a 99 Buick regal gs supercharged from the factory with a ton of mods from me and my brother who owned it before me....here is a sample of the regal since I loved this car and it treated me very well.

I was less sad to see that car go bu-bye than I thought I would be....mostly due to the fact that it was replaced by a car as amazing as the G35 is. I picked the car up on Saturday and spent all Sunday morning washing, clay baring and waxing it. soooo here are the pics. There are a few scratches that will be repaired sooner than later, Coupe springs are being shopped for and tint will be on within the next two weeks.

nice! get that sucker dropped and some 19" or 20", but be careful on staggered wheels, some AWD owners say they get no problems, some do...

good luck, happy modding!

Thanks for the comment, yeah the Buick had Headers, full cat-back W/ no cat. 1.7 Roller Rockers, Cold air intake, 3500 Stall converter, Limited Slip Diff, 3 size smaller supercharger pulley, larger sway bars front and rear, polly motor mounts and an off the shelf tune. The car was a blast to drive and dynoed 244 whp and 260 lb/ft of torque without the 50 shot of juice. The car had 148000 miles on it when I traded it in and still running strong. She ran a best of 13.7 in the quarter before the converter, LSD, and spray.

I did get my 05 for 19k and am loving it. I dropped it off at the dealership yesterday for a full inspection, and to have them figure out why my sirius was not receiving a signal. They gave me an 07 g35x as a loaner and I am loving it. I do like my interior in the 05 better though. I just like the layout of the older model better. Dealer did just call me and said my car is ready for pick up. I did want a RWD model in the worst way but if we have a winter like our last one I would pretty much need the awd. I am working on a deal with a co-worker for some 18" Enkei's that I feal would match the car nicely...he just does not know the bolt pattern so I am waiting for him to bring me one to try. I love my G and can't wait to add some performance parts to it....yes debadging will happen this weekend...or maybe even tonight.
