as far as performance gains go I don't think much hp wise, it's mostly sound and I guess your exhaust will breathe a little easier

i just put mine on today. no gains and barely any sound difference......maybe when i add a new muffler ill be more pleased, but this mod was real dissappointing to me. Granted, i got the pipe and install for free, but still, im not sure what the big deal is on the coupe midpipe???

bluemax what year is your car

Sedan owners with 05-06 models - the coupe midpipe will do next to nothing for you. It only helps 03-04 models. If you have an 03-04 and don't notice anything, double check the install

So if the 03 Sedan has a Silencer... and the Coupe's have a Resonator.... would a blank section of pipe be somewhere in the middle?

What do you recommend if I have an 05 AWD?

^ Nothing, your '05 has a smaller/throatier sound and lighter mid-pipe than us with '04's and older. Coupe middy is a waste for your year model.

You want sound, get an HKS sport muffler.

so really I would just need to throw on say the HKS axleback or Blitz Axleback if i were looking for that mean sound? I have an 05 too so I shouldn't bother with the midpipe? If I were going to do anythin I would be better off with the test pipes or something like that

the coupe middy doesn't do much for the 05/06's. Won't notice a difference really. Just add the HKS and you'll be very happy.

Cool that saves me some $$$ that I could put towards something else! haha..Plus I won't have to worry about any CEL popping up or anything like that if I just have the axleback. Time to start searching for it! I appreciate the info!
