Hey guys, i just got the car a month ago. Ive gotten a couple of mods done(look in my sig). what else do you guys suggest i go for. Im looking for more speed.

dang you live right off of a pretty busy street.

 

yea, thats why i like it. its around 93db. but the sound it makes is really good. I dint want something too loud cause i would get bored of it real soon.

 

it's had the opposite effect for me. first it was the intake, then the hks; not loud enough, got the reso replaced. now i'm thinking about changing out the y pipe haha it never ends.

I could'nt see much, you wont see to much improvment in performance without some FI. You could do what i did and get a Bike, after driving my r1 everything else seems pointless, kinda has killed my passion for cars and speed. Now all i want in a car is comfort and maybe a nice drop and rims.

maybe a 50 shot
headers
Test pipes made a big diff for me
Utec with a nice tune always helps.

heres two shots of my borla with glass packs in place of the y pipe muffler and race pipes. Replacing the cats is a decent gain in both hp and sound quality

i'm looking for the 350z HR y pipe, which is the stock y pipe for the z. i tried contacting my local nissan dealer to see if they had any take offs laying around but b/c of warranty issues, they can't give them away or sell the used ones.

another member is going to put on the HR pipe and will try to get a sound clip up.

 

sounds good. do you know how much the HR pipe costs?
