this isn’t trunk related, but a mild change while car was at AE - since the ones who’s opinion I value are in this thread already I figured I'd ask for input...

My previous side marker were smoked pretty dark - I had two sets re-done, one a lighter shade of smoked (no pics yet) and one dusted body color... I kinda like the body color and that’s what’s on there know - what do you guys think?

Sorry for off topic (in my own thread)

Here's mine, molded M3 style spoiler and shaved trunk. I went into the shop to get the trunk shaved, but saw OCG35s car there with the molded spoiler and I had to get that done too! Took a few snaps at Auto Explosion before I left. Will get some better shots soon.

Nice marcus! whole new front and tail end. I'm guessing you'll be sleeping in your garage tonight.

Damn Marcus, ideas ideas.

How much did it cost you to have your trunk shaved and painted?

How much to mold and paint? I need to get my aero kit painted, so I might as well go down there and drop it off to someone I know will do it right.

Has anyone been able to find a pre-painted lip spoiler online?

I can find the unpainted one which i believe is 45inches long and i can find the carbon fiber look one but i would rather just go with a painted one.

If no one can figure out where to find a painted one, how much have yall been paying to paint one?

even if you could find one pre-painted, I wouldnt suggest it. The paint match should be done by a shop - it sits up high and hits lots of light so if the color doesnt match it's going to be very noticable, unlike side sills that are down so low its not as big an issue (even though I've seen some that dont match very well).

I would think paint would be $50-$100.

you'd have to send your trunk to Auto Explosion in Gardena, CA - or find a good local body shop and have them do it... mine and candlestickpark (and soon to be one other, I'll let him post so I wont mention yet) all had ours done at Auto Explosion (yes they copied me )
