When that stuff gos down it looks wet, dont worry just give it time in between coats and when it flashes off it will look right. Make sure you give it enough coats, its a single stage matted black so after one or two coats you will think its done because it will look covered. But since there is no clear you want to make sure there is enough paint for UV protection, you dont want to see you paint job to fade after one summer
Good luck man, good to watch it come a long
Its good to see you picked out some good paint. Other people make a cheaper version off hot-rod-black but it does not look as good or last as long.
PPGFREAK - Thats good news to hear! I was told it was quality paint so that makes me feel a ton better! It was not cheap
. Atleast its not the new water based stuff....
But thanks for the pictures I love seeing the stuff that your doing!

The new waterbase stuff is good, dont let it worry you. It just take more air flow to dry it compaired to solvent paint that needs more heat.
Your doing the jambs now and then when it drys your going to shut the doors and do the out side? If you are doing it all at ones it hard, you will get dry spots from the over spray. But with the hot-rod-black I dont think that could really happen any ways. But its looking good man keep up the work, it will make you so happy when your driving it and you know YOU did the work.
^
I did not think you were going to tell people seeing as I bought it from you
