Wow, i cant believe a body shop even performed that work for you.

Unless this is going to be a trailored show car.

jon!
depends on the quality of the work and the products used. i had a maxima that was fully shaved and molded. had everything seam sealed first so it was still flexible and then layed a coat of filler over the seam seal. it was my DD for 4 years and never had any problems with cracks, splits or paint work.

but in codeflux's case, not much you can do about that. just pray insurance takes care of everything.

best of luck to the OP with the transformation

Sorry guys, I’ve been busy all weekend… I did pick up the car yesterday but had to go straight to upholstery shop (Chuys) to have a few things buttoned up (primarily seat belts sewn back in and some other final details in the headliner/pillars)…

There are a few things that need adjusting… I wont bore everyone with details, but it’s not 100% yet…

I like everything on the car – except I’m a little uncertain about the hood cowl – the lines are a little harder than they looked when primer (paint accentuates everything much more)… I might go back eventually and have them rounded and soften up later (you’ll understand when you see pics)…

I haven’t had time to take any pics yet – it will probably be a while before I get final pictures posted… I’ll see if SouthbayGsedan took any pics after paint and post 1 or 2 teasers… there will be quality pics up later.
