nah... I considered it, but I dont want to deal with issues of chipping/peeling... the color is a bit darker than DG so the rubber strip doesnt stand out as much.

in 4.5 years the only reason I've ever taken the taillights out were to modify them... all the moding is done, so I cant think of a reason they would need to come out.

Well my tail lights are done too, but you don't know if you change your mind, or you get condensation, or a bulb goes out, etc. I molded by sideskirts and rear bumper... do I regret sometimes? Yea I accept the possibility some **** can happen... like hitting a speedbump and cracking it, on the first day its out of the shop lmao (i had my 17s on, mad low)

We’ve been over this before…
1) I don’t plan things for my car based around accident potential
2) if I do have a rear end accident, there is a lot more than taillights that will need to be fixed…
everything that is molded in can be cut out if needed… its just fiberglass and body filler.

I haven’t had any regrets or problems yet (knock on wood).
As I've stated before, this isn’t for everyone - otherwise many others would have done it... it takes commitment to the mod, since it can’t easily or cheaply be re-done/un-done.
But the issues you guys keep mentioning with the taillights simply aren’t issues really.
