congrats Levon!

Marcus, how much more aggressive is 10.5 +25 compared to 9.5 +20? I calculate it at 20-21mm.

Marcus is this calculated by taking your current wheel offset and add 13mm for an inch increase or 6.5 mm for an half inch increase in wheel width. Minus the offset of the wheels you want.

So for Dave questions, how much more aggressive is 10.5 +25 compared to 9.5 +20?

The formula would be
9.5 + 20 offset plus 13mm = 9.5 +33

You take 9.5 +33 offset and minus it by the wheel spec you want which is 10.5 +25 offset and subtract the offset to figure how much more the 10.5 +25 is than to the 9.5 + 20 is.

So the math on it is
9.5 +33 minus 10.5 +25 which equals 8mm more aggressive.

Man that’s kinda complicated to explain when you can’t white board it out in front of the person your trying to explain it to.

I just use an online offset calculator which does the math for you.

It's actually not 13mm really.

It's 12.3mm

So just count every inch in width is a difference of 12 in offset. Every half inch is obviously a 6.

I do it all in my head, I don't subtract the widths from themselves just count in your head 6s and 12s and then lay it out on your fingers for every inch you've moved lol

grade 5 math FTW

Yeah I'm probably not going to go as aggressive this time around so I can dial in some positive camber, but ya never know. I'm thinking of getting my coils re-valved and getting custom spring rates first. Maybe even a cup kit but I'm not sure yet.

Holy crap...how do you guys ride this low???? I just measured my car and it sits at 25.75 front and 25.25 rear. I want to even out the front with rear, but even that is still almost an inch above what you guys are riding at. Mad props to you guys. My wife wont even ride in my car now, what more when I drop it more.

Is that by the design of the car or cuz you maxed out your coils? Even more props to you guys.

That's exactly how I did it. Also make sure and keep the measuring tape straight up and down and not follow the angle (camber) of the wheel/tire.

From what I know the 08 (second gen) sits a little lower than first gen from the factory. Fender to ground, not body to ground.

^I'll measure one the next time I see a stock one and have my tape measuring tape with me. The only way I knew the stock ride height of our car was to measure a woman's G Sedan that parks across from me at my condo building...haha.
