Unless you plan in going with coilovers soon, I would go with a 225/35 up front. Your car isn't low enough for a 225/30.

You'll need 15-20mm spacers in the rear depending on how aggressive you want to be. At the very least a 10mm to make you look "sortaflush"

Even 2-3 degrees up front is wrong with springs. On Tein Basics I was at -2.2 or -2.4.

wouldent that make the tire look kind tall in the front? I have 225/30/20 in the front right now on an 8.5 wide wheel

it might be closer to -3* I cant remember what it was at when I had it aligned.

i can get my hands on a set of Tanabe springs for cheap and i think they drop the front another .3" and have stiffer spring rates in the rear, i dont care too much for the S tech they were on the car when i bought it

im just going for a Flush look not so much the stretch and poke

Thanks for the help

No it would not. The sidewall on a 225/35/20 and a 255/30/20 are almost identical.

^ pretty tough to stretch on that thing of a wheel. a 225/35 is very mild stretch (and a small tires)

The smallest tire he could get is probably a 215/40 and still, not that stretchy.

You have to go pretty low to tuck tire on a 215/40/18

so depends on the car...

Sorry im kinda off a little but I have 20s X 8.5/10 Im running 245/35/20 in the front "looks a lil high" ans 275/35/20 in the rear. I had some cheap tires at first so it fit well but now I went luxury and got continentals. However I need to find a way so that these tires wont get ate up on the insides anymore. 8 months was all I go out of the previous tires! The guy who does my alignment said i'm already maxed out...
