I gotta cruise with you one day man...I wasn't that low and I mangled the crap out of the bottom of my car. Broken o2 sensor plugs and wiring, oil pan scraped, f*ck downtown LA and a few streets near me that are similar to there. Perhaps I drive too fast.

I thought the oil pan was fairly safe sitting above other things that take most of the hits?

I scrape everything in mine and I still tackle driveways every now and then. Of course at this point, I know which driveways I can make and which ones I can't.

question

Hello,
Sorry to trouble you guys. I had a quick questions regarding shock clearance and haven't seen any posts relating to it. Any of you with low offset wheels running true coilovers in the rear? I am trying to figure out the clearance from inner lip of wheel to true coilover. I have seen a post of a 10.5 +29 hitting coilover collar at full lowered height, but was wondering if that was on true rear coilover. My dilemma is 10.5 +26 and if spacers are needed to clear true coilovers, btw i would like to leave rear fender unpulled, flat rolled but no pull. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

edit*

from what i have researched and my calculations, i saw that someone had a10.5 +40 offset and stated they had roughly around 10mm of clearance from collar, not sure if oem style or true coilover
so if 10.5 +26 that would mean I would have 24mm of clearance from collar, roughly one inch. for every degree of camber, you lose about 4mm inward (dependent of length of arms etc. but roughly) so after about 3.5 degrees of camber, there should be clearance of 10mm (24mm -4mm*3.5)

so if looking at those numbers, not sure if accurate or not as I don't have any test fitment available will 10.5 +26 clear true coilovers?

Thanks,
Hello1

I didn't have a front sway bar at the time.

Which o2 sensor? I have an extra driver side one that goes into the cats if you need it. Yeah I'm not too familiar with dtla and night driving fml. I know going to hollywood taking forest lawn then instead of taking the 101 taking la cienaga by making a left somewhere on the left lane theres a huge pot hole. Even with my meaty tires and not too low of a drop it's painful. Been like that for months and I keep forgetting about it.

I am running 19x10.5 et33 w/ a 255/35 tire and tein Basic coilovers. The inside lip of my wheels do rub the shocks when going up very steep driveways.
