Pic Request for Obsidian Black Sedans

Pics of Painted headlights!

I really don't like the look of the chrome/silver and I am debating if I should paint them.

Thanks

I will when I get home from work late tonight, the pics are in my computer, I used flat black duplicolor paint from pepboys, I suggest going with a little deeper dark tho, like a matte black or satin black, flat black looks too dry, I think some people in the forum used bumper coating if im not mistaken

Before you paint them I suggest you purchase the "JDM" set from Ebay first. Here is the reason why. Our headlamps tend to "yellow" after awhile but the "JDM" headlamps won't. Since you will have to remove the stock lens from the OEM HID set it will be in your best intrests to replace the lens as well. BTW the so called "JDM" set is garbage compare to our HID set. Also you will want to use an adhesive promoter prior to painting the shrouds.

If you want to see what the headlamps look like once apart then click on my link below.

if you purchase a brand new set of OEM 03-04 sedan lights they won't yellow like the original ones did. plastic manufacturers are using higher quality materials now and the results show on newer headlight lenses.

also aren't the ebay lights non-hid ?

If you would like to buy me the JDM headlamp then ill do it :P, I don't have much money to work with. I will just polish and possibly wet-sand my lens clear. Thanks for the Tip

Does anybody know if the JDM ones on ebay that come with the black housing listed for 03 04 fit on my 03 with aftermarket hid kit which replaced oem halogen bulbs? I like how my paintjob came out but my lens are scrached and ugly from wear and tear, they only cost 170 or so, cheaper than a pair of new oem headlights, If I buy them im just gonna put em on and not crack em open, but I don't know if I have to modify anything?

Damn itt, I guess im gonna have to fork up the money for brand new oem headlights, my lenses look ugly when the headlights are on at night time, if the headlights are off or if the headlights are on before it gets dark out they look good, I wish I could buy just new lenses instead of complete headlights, and yes I use Plast X, this is just wear and tear
