LOL, yeah I know. But it goes with all of the other ARC parts in my bay. Been looking for one for a while, finally found a good deal on one. I've still got more than enough "bling" to blind ya.

Better hope I don't steal it, I mean, it doesn't get misplaced during transit

Right on... when I first saw the post I was wondering if it was from actual foot/hand print - very cool... she must have been born at 11:15

Yessir. Engine bay is fully ARC'd out minus the intake which I would never run since the FuRookie looks so much cleaner.

At least its clear that it reps time of birth - just in month/day instead of hour/min

Long live Dimebag Darrell!

btw, I'm pretty sure its a Broadcaster - I've never had the serial number traced, but it has a Bigsby tailpiece so I suspect it might be pre Tele... on the other hand, it also has two Humbucker pickups (instead of typical single coil pickups) - so it might just be a mutt put together by someone...

I bought it used about 25 years ago and it sounds way cool - deep tone (unlike standard Tele's) so I've kept it all these years (all the other electrics I've been through are gone)...

IIRC, Fender made Bigsby Tele's (with humbuckers) like the one in your tat in the '60s and/or '70s...and they're freakin' sweet. Here's an example:

Here's Fender's serial number look-up page: http://www.fender.com/support/usa_instruments.php. It might be able to help you pin down the year yours was made.

My current pride-and-joy is my Eric Johnson signature Stratocaster. I slapped some DiMarzio Virtual Vintage pickups in it last year ('Area 61' in the bridge and 'Area 58' in the neck and middle positions), and I absolutely love it.
